Rose Diaz was born and raised in southern California. She is a dual licensed Esthetician and Medical Massage Practitioner and the owner of Advanced Bodyworks of California, Inc. She holds the beliefs that raising the standards in the field of massage is necessary.

Rose began her career as a medical Esthetician 13 years ago, working for a Dermatologist in South Pasadena, CA. She had always wanted to expand her services to include massage but initially worked within the realm of skin care, with some bodywork.

She attended a massage course at Rio Hondo in 2009 and then graduated from an allied medical school where she took her massage courses. After graduating, Rose continued her education and received a Medical Massage Practitioner designation, and is also now a part-time faculty member, as a subsitute teacher, of the college. Rose’s style of massage is integrative; very therapeutic, holistic, and strategic in that she looks for the core issues in a client’s body that cause pain and discomfort. Her approach to massage is nurturing and she customizes her client’s massages using various techniques in every session. Her specialty is helping people over the age of 35 with chronic and painful conditions. She is a Community Care Provider for the Veteran’s Administration, working with Veteran’s, and also works helping female clients who suffer from women’s health issues like Fibromyalgia, Endometriosis, PCOS, Thyroid issues, Arthromyalgia, and fatigue.

“From a very young age I suffered with chronic pain and women’s issues, and although many would say I was dealt heavy circumstances, I fought with resilience and learned to cope. With the help of alternative treatments, massage being one of those therapies, now I try to help others. I feel compassion and empathy to guide my clients in the direction of all-around wellness.”

Claudia has been a certified massage therapist for 7 years. She is passionate about using massage and manual therapy techniques to help patients recover more quickly. She is intuitive in her technique with confidence that people can achieve their peak performance potential if they stick with their therapy. Claudia is very conscientious, kind, and enthusiastic and makes sure every patient is cared for with respect. She integrates a customized treatment plan that addresses individual needs and goals.

Claudia completed 1000 hours of training through both North-West College’s massage classes and externship program, at the Pomona, CA campus. After graduating and receiving her state certification, Claudia started her independent massage practice and has helped hundreds of people feel better from their painful ailments. Since then, she has advanced her skills through continuing education courses.

In addition to massage therapy, Claudia has a background in esthetics; skin care, and body contouring.
